We’re kicking off the 2026 Lone Star Race Series with the Space City Half on Sunday, April 19. The series continues with Race #2 at the Sugar Land Half on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and builds to an epic finale on Saturday, December 5, 2026 back at the stunning Galveston Bay scenery of Texas City.

The Space City Half debuts on Sunday, April 19, 2026, bringing the same fast, scenic course and smooth logistics as the Houston Turkey Dash to a new spring event. Featuring a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and mile run, it’s the Season Opener of the Lone Star Race Series, following the Sugar Land and Texas City Half Marathons. Join us for a fun, flat race through Houston’s westside inner-loop and celebrate the close of an epic Texas race season.
